Aluminium Sulphate Liquid

The liquid aluminium sulphate manufactured by Feralco meets the most demanding criteria for products intended for the treatment of water for human consumption, as specified in standard UNE-EN 878:2016, Type 1, iron-free quality.

Its main application is the treatment of drinking water, to eliminate suspended matter and colloids. It can also be used for municipal waste water treatment, and in industry for process water preparation, effluent treatment and sludge conditioning.

Another very important application of aluminium sulphate is the manufacture of paper and cardboard, where it is used to improve retention in the sizing process, as well as in the purification of the waste water produced thereby.

It is also used in the chemical industry as a source of aluminium and in the fertiliser industry as an ammonium nitrate stabiliser.
